Only Have One Professional Players, Fiji Capitalize the Spirit of Face Indonesia

Fiji national team made the spirit as a capital to face the Indonesian national team in a friendly match at the Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, Saturday (2/10/2017). Fiji coach Christophe Gamel said they lost everything from Indonesia.

The Frenchman is even talking about the population. He admits that Fiji’s population is only 1 percent if compared with Indonesia.

“We are a small country only 1 percent of the population of Indonesia, but no problem to grow and face a larger team like Indonesia,” Gamel said at a press conference at Aston Hotel, Bekasi, Friday (1/9/2017).

Gamel also revealed that they only have one professional player in captain Roy Krishna.

“Our captain (Roy) Krishna is the only professional player,” he said.

With all these facts, Gamel is looking forward to the fight.

“Indonesia is good to have good quality, have speed on right and left will cause trouble, for us, tomorrow is our day, have to start new experience outside our country,” Gamel said.
