Chelsea’s Alex Sandro
Alex Sandro emerged as one of Chelsea’s main transfer targets this summer.
However, the Blues have not been able to convince the Serie A giants to sell the Brazilian national team players before the transfer market players closed.
The latest report shows that Chelsea will again try to bring Sandro in January, with a bid of 70 million pounds that is still debated.
Antonio Conte’s plans to look for a left-back may be a waste if Marotta (Juventus) gets the deal.
Marotta told local media: “Paulo [Dybala] himself has asked for [a new deal], we will soon renew and we will also extend Alex Sandro’s contract.”
The newspaper indicated that Sandro will remain in Juve’s squad and will get a raise.
That means his wages will rise from 2.5 million Pounds Sterling (2.8 million Euro) per year to 4.5 million Pounds Sterling (5 million Euro) per year.
